A little more about me

After 7 years living in teeny apartments in Brooklyn, where I spent the best days of my 20s and developed a deep love of wedding photography, I made the move back to my hometown of Saint Louis, MO. And I wish I could tell you it was during these beautiful chapters of my life — like my wedding or the births of my babies — that I learned the most about my role as a photographer but it’s actually through the hardest seasons of my life that have taught me the most. And it’s the photographs you have of your best chapters that will be there to carry your heart through your own inevitable peaks and valleys, in marriage or parenthood. I want to help you create and print these joyful reminders of sharing your lives together.

My WHY

I truly believe that art and holding photographs in our hands has the power to transform us. To bring you back to something simple and genuine. To bring you peace when you’re missing someone you’ve loved and lost. To help you feel connected to one another and to help you carry your past, present, and future along the way through printed images. Something as simple as holding the hand of someone you love on a beautiful day. Or your child sitting on your hip as you carry them around for what might be the last time before they would rather walk ahead of you. Or your too-cool-for-family-photos teenager before they move out of your home. I want to capture your first big day as a married couple or an ordinary day at home with your family. Tomorrow isn’t promised — let me document you with your favorite people as you are today. And I promise to help you print your most beloved photos to avoid digital dread.

I’d much rather talk about —

your deepest thoughts / hopes / fears than make small talk. I am an INFJ. Type 1w2 on the Enneagram. And I am an extroverted introvert, depending on the crowd. I am a minimalist, I love interior design, and am obsessed with organization. I have a love / hate relationship with social media.
