About

I feel the most myself when I’m helping others find + work toward their purpose and when creating visual representations of the power of human connection. I get to be a mirror and show you the beauty in an ordinary moment. To document these little moments in time before they pass by sooner than we’d like. Something as simple as holding the hand of someone you love on your wedding day. Or your child sitting on your hip as you carry them around for what might be the last time before they would rather walk ahead of you. I believe that art has the power to transform people. To bring you back to your sense of purpose. To bring you peace when you’re missing someone you’ve loved and lost. To make you feel connected to one another.

Having been with my husband for 16 years, married for 8 of those, I can promise you it is the most incredible experience having everyone you love together in one place to celebrate you. Aside from the births of my kids, it is the best day ever. And being a mom has made me appreciate photography even more since I especially know how fleeting time is and how important it is to have visual memories of those you love dearly. A little more about me, Drew and I met in art history class, while I was getting my BFA in Photography, and we’ve been together ever since. After 7 amazing years living in teeny apartments in Brooklyn, we made the move back to our hometown of Saint Louis to raise kids closer to our families. Our little Dorothy [Dot] just turned 5.5, and we welcomed our baby George almost three years ago.

I am an INFJ. Type 1 on the Enneagram. My love language is Quality Time. And I am an extroverted introvert, depending on the crowd. I’d much rather talk about your deepest thoughts / hopes / fears than make small talk. I am a minimalist. I love interior design and am obsessed with organization. I have a love/hate relationship with social media. My word for 2021 is intentional – with my phone, time/energy, reading, and digital minimalism.

I’m so glad you’re here. Take a look around and tell me how I can best document your story in a meaningful way.
